Digitization and its effects became the main driver of the recombination of sectors, segments, business models and markets in the cultural and media fields. Evolution of regulations and policies- in particular in competition policies- is often analyzed through a legal framework but need also a renewed economic analysis of recent markets (digital book, advertizing on mobile phone, digital cinema…), of multiple business models (pay-per-view and on-demand services, free services and advertizing, subscription, freemium…), of new production modes (newspapers and blogs, users-generated content, visual arts…) and new distribution and diffusion modes (search engines, aggregation platforms, research and infomediation software, ticketting, interworking…).
